Robert Wardy will give a talk on  'On the very idea of (philosophical?) translation from the Chinese', which  culminates in a survey of some texts from Chuang-tzu and Heraclitus meant to supply material for discussion of the topic of comparative ineffability, but is mostly theoretical and historical semantics.
