My thesis explores the compatibilities and tensions between 4E approaches to cognition—especially enactivism—and more traditional frameworks in philosophy of mind and cognitive science, such as representationalism and computationalism. I am also interested in ordinary language philosophy, particularly in how its methodology can be enriched by recent research on cognitive biases and conceptual metaphors.
