Summary of the CEU Undergraduate Conference in Moral and Political Philosophy

We held the international CEU Undergraduate Conference in Moral and Political Philosophy on Sept 2-3, 2016. It was an unusual and welcome opportunity for undergraduates to visit CEU, give a professional conference-style presentation, receive commentary and questions from CEU faculty and graduate students from the departments of Philosophy and Political Science - and, last but not least, experience the friendly, international social environment of CEU and a few of the delights of Budapest.

Elena Popa has been appointed an Assistant Professor at the American University of Central Asia

Elena Popa has been appointed an Assistant Professor at the American University of Central Asia, in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. This is following her successful appointment at the same university in the previous academic year, as a CEU Global Teaching Fellow.

The Department Has Moved to Nádor 13

On Thursday, August 25, the Department of Philosophy moved to its new location: 13 Nádor Street, Second Floor. All the faculty whose primary affiliation is with Philosophy, the coordinator and assistant, and the new PhD Lab are now located at the new address. Phone numbers and postal address (9 Nádor St) remain unchanged.
