Our alumnus, Dong-geun Kim (MA 2020), recently graduated from the PhD program at the University of Edingburgh. He defended his dissertation entitled "From Beings to Being: Plato’s Dialectic of Being in the Sophist" on 3rd April 2026.

Our recent alumnus, László Kőszeghy (PhD 2025), is the curriculum manager of the philosophy, classical languages, and (as part of a team) theory of knowledge courses of the International Baccalaureate’s Diploma Program.

Managing curriculum reviews at the IB is a future-oriented, research-based and collaborative process, relying on feedback from educators, students, alumni, and experts, and aimed at producing guides and support materials which gives students the agency to take ownership of their own learning, flourish and create a more peaceful world.
