I am interested in the philosophy of language and logic, with a focus on the works of 20th century analytic philosophers such as Frege, Wittgenstein, Carnap, Quine, and Davidson.
For my PhD dissertation, I attempt to defend the view that the concept of truth is social in nature. Building on ideas such as Frege's anti-psychologism, Wittgenstein's view of meaning as use, and Davidson's idea of triangulation, I aim to argue that the concept of truth emerges from our shared linguistic and normative practices.
Outside philosophy, I am a chess enthusiast who enjoys competing in tournaments despite often getting humbled by prodigies half my age or veterans twice my age.
