Next fall term the Department of Philosophy launches a peer-learning based weekly Philosophy Research and Publish Lab. PhD students will receive hands-on training in three kinds of know-how: (a) how to write different formats of text (why write only term papers if one has later to publish book reviews, research papers, etc?); (b) how to use professional databases for research (ever heard of web of science?); (c) how to publish one's research results (who's afraid of peer-review?). Maria Kronfeldner has been awarded a CEU Teaching Development Grant for the project and will develop the R&P-Lab in a way that will also make it possible for other lecturers to use material from it.  Results will be published here. A short description can be found here.
