We are congratulating our doctoral student Zsolt Kapelner for winning the 2019 Res Publica Postgraduate Essay Prize with his paper ‘Revolution Against Non-violent Oppression’. Since 2006, Res Publica, the journal of the Association for Social and Political Philosophy, has been awarding an annual prize for the best paper submitted by a current or recent postgraduate student in the filed of moral, legal, social or political philosophy.
