My main research interests are in the philosophy of mind, specifically, theories of consciousness. I also have interests in more general metaphysical issues as well as in the philosophers of the early modern period. I completed my master's degree at Arizona State University. My MA thesis dealt with issues in the philosophy of mind concerning mental causation, our epistemic access to the essential natures of phenomenally conscious states, and defended Russellian monism as the best path forward for a theory of consciousness.
