Joshua Jarrott

I am a 2nd year PhD Candidate in Philosophy at CEU. For my research, I focus on philosophy of time and temporal perception. Prior to attending CEU, I received my MA in philosophy from Colorado State University in 2018, where I completed a more historical research thesis that investigated the concept of a law of nature in the works of American Pragmatist philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce. I also co-moderate (along with my friend Nich from my MA) a philosophy based Instagram account with just under one million followers, which you can find here: @the.scientific.philosopher.

I mainly work on philosophy of mind and perception. I was a member of MAP (Minorities and Philosophy) for the years 2018-2020. My duty as your PhD representative is to voice your worries, needs, and suggestions to our Department and the other representative organs of our University.
