Emily WilliamsonBefore beginning my PhD at CEU, I completed my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh and my MA in Philosophy at the University of Salzburg. My MA thesis was a defense of propositional literary cognitivism, by means of arguing that some works of fictional literature are thought experiments. I am most interested in the intersection of aesthetics and epistemology and, more broadly, in metaphilosophy and questions concerning the limitations of different fields. As the PhD representative, I want to communicate our values and concerns to the university. Please feel free to get in touch about any issues or ideas. |
